CARY, NC, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Triangle Oktoberfest, the renowned festival celebrating German culture and bringing together the community in support of charity, is taking place on Friday, October 2nd from 5 PM to 10 PM, and Saturday, October 3rd from 12 PM to 8 PM at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre. This fun and family-friendly event will be hosted again by the Apex Sunrise Rotary Club and Cary MacGregor Rotary Club.

“We are truly grateful to the Town of Cary, the generosity of our sponsors and support from our vendors and many volunteers,” said Craig Duerr, Burgermeister of the Triangle Oktoberfest Rotary Foundation. “Everyone who attended the 11th Annual Triangle Oktoberfest last year helped us raise over $165,000 for charity, including $35,000 to our main beneficiary, Miracle League of the Triangle, and $10,000 for ongoing Western Carolina Disaster Relief. We had great weather with over 5,700 in attendance, our 1st ever wheelchair wiener dog, dignitaries from Wiesbaden in Germany and a new men’s Stein Hoist record at 9 minutes.”

Attendees can expect over 100 Wiener Dogs and an opportunity to qualify for the Stein Hoist Championships on ESPN. Thanks to Bavarian Sponsor, Fifth Third Bank, children can enjoy the expanded Kinder Platz with inflatables, yard games, face painting and crafts. Crowd favorites from Disney World, the King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Band, will be returning to perform traditional German music and keep the entertainment rolling throughout the weekend. Plan to stay on Saturday for the Mr. & Miss Oktoberfest contest and Lufthansa raffle.

Triangle Oktoberfest will feature over 50 beers including Hofbrau, Paulaner, Bitburger, Ayinger, Hacker Pschorr, and Spaten from Mὓnich, along with a host of seasonal beers and favorites from local craft breweries. Traditional Bavarian food will include the Wondering Wolf, Annelore's German Bakery, healthy options with A Place at the Table and fire-grilled brats from the Butcher’s Market. The event will also play host to BMW’s AutoBahn and the German Meetup Spot, hosted by the Sisters City Association of Cary and the German American Chamber of Commerce.
